The installation consists of three groups of landforms (32 forms total) on the floor and three corresponding zoetropes hanging from the ceiling. After a bicycle crash in the mountains I photographed three groups of scabs daily as they healed. Tracing the scabs created contours that determined the shapes of the landforms. The zoetropes animate the contours of the scabs healing and re-emerging.
